For men and women who realize that they need technical skills to get good-paying jobs that lead to lifelong, family-sustaining careers, JARC's Careers in Manufacturing Program (CMP), which offers free skills training, is a great opportunity.
At JARC, we have a national reputation for quality training. Our Technical Training Center offers 3,500 square feet of space to train students on machine tools, punch presses and related equipment, and much more.
Through relationships with Chicago-area manufacturers we help graduates of the program find entry-level and more advanced jobs, based on their skills and interests.
But this isn't about just getting a job - it's about starting your career! Many manufacturing employers offer on-the-job training or apprenticeships that can lead to careers with good pay.
