Raised JARC profile at S&C Electric

Partner, advocate, friend

JARC has lost a dear and loyal friend: Rich Boveri, Senior Engineer at S&C Electric Company and chair of JARC’s Industry Advisory Council.

This last year, JARC staff and other industry partners worked closely with Rich on the development and launch of our new press brake program. Rich was a critical force in helping JARC acquire equipment for a new welding lab back in 2007. At S&C Electric Company, where he was an employee for 42 years, Rich provided dozens of tours for our trainees and staff. And he was always involved in JARC’s annual gala, the Evening of Opportunities.

He was a warm, good man who quietly worked to support the agency and its programs, and this sudden loss is heartbreaking. Our thoughts are with Rich’s family and loved ones, as well as his friends and colleagues at S&C.

Funeral was held March 23, 2019, at St. Paul of the Cross in Park Ridge. Interment was at All Saints Cemetery.
